Yugoboy Visits Albany to Protest Current NYSED Tests and Policies
New York State United Teachers (NYSUT) sponsored a major rally on the mall in Albany on Saturday.
The rally was generally to protest some of the stupid policies regarding testing of students. Students are being tested on material they can't possibly have been taught. They're being tested over 12 days a year. These tests are being produced for profit by Pearson Education and are not capable of doing what they're supposed to be doing: evaluating what students are learning and how well the teachers are teaching them.
